JAKE

Jake, a 12 year old, handsome American Eskimo was surrendered to a local shelter, along with his best friend Emma (also an American Eskimo). Jake is a sweet, friendly boy who walks well on a leash and loves all the attention he can get! This sweet boy is also crate trained and housetrained. Jake is a mature dog with much to offer. He is done with all that silly puppy stuff! Jake would love to be your buddy, hang out and go for walks. Soon, both Jake and Emma will be joining an Eskies Online foster home, so we should have an update as soon as we get to know them better.

Eskie people will understand that American Eskimos who are well cared for, tend to live long, active lives. Several of us in Eskie rescue have much older dogs than these guys, Eskies who, based on their antics, do not think of themselves as "elderly". We believe this pair is likely still to have several years ahead of them. While It would be wonderful if Jake and Emma could be adopted together, he is also available by himself.

Jake is neutered and seems to be in excellent health, but will be examined by our vet and up to date on all basic vaccinations prior to adoption.
