EMMA

Emma, along with her best pal, Jake, was recently surrendered to a local shelter, where she is trying to adapt to the sudden change of circumstances. She is an incredibly beautiful 15 pound, miniature American Eskimo who is a little intimidated with all the commotion of the shelter. Twelve years old, this elegant lady deserves a home where she can just be appreciated and loved for all she has to offer! Although Emma is a bit frightened in her new surroundings, shelter workers can tell she is a very well behaved girl, with much to offer to a loving family. She walks well on a leash and is also crate trained and house trained. Emma and Jake will be joining an Eskies Online foster home soon, so we should have more information as we get to know them better.

Eskie people will understand that American Eskimos who are well cared for, tend to live long, active lives. Several of us in Eskie rescue have much older dogs than these guys, dogs who, based on their antics, do not think of themselves as "elderly". We believe this pair is likely still to have several years ahead of them. It would be wonderful if both Emma and Jake could find a forever home together. Of course, Emma is available to be adopted by herself too!

Emma and Jake
