ADOPTED

WOOPTY

Our Woopty is a Social Media Superstar. His dramatic story touched alot of hearts, and the outpouring of support was inspiring. Seems that as a NYC city stray, Woopty was picked up by Animal Control Officers and transported to NYCACC, another homeless Bully Breed statistic.

Woopty's outgoing personality earned rave behavior evaluations, and he quickly earned a spot in the Shelter adoption program, but after a few unsuccessful adoption attempts, Woopty was sent to us for some R and R in the Country. High energy dogs like Woopty, become anxious in city shelter environments, and we found that exercise is the key to keeping this active boy happy.

Woopty has the bouyant good nature that attracts Bully breed folks to these lovable high energy scamps. No other dog group has been so overbred, mishandled and maligned as the Bullies, and we are thrilled to have Woopty with us, at this young stage of his life, so that we can find his forever home.

Woopty is a young, robust dog, just three years old. He appears to be largely Staffordshire Terrier due to his girth and height. He is a muscular, strong dog at 55 pounds, with a powerful stance. He has a large block head, with a broad skull that suggests the Staffordshire Terrier DNA. His muscular body is brindle pattern, with white markings. Woopty truly represents the best of beauty and temperament in the Staffie breed. He has charmed everyone he has met, and his professional behavior evaluations have been great. He has passed most of his Canine Good Citizen Evaluation.

Woopty would be a fantastic choice for a Bully breed lover, who is willing to continue the exercise and obedience regimen that has fostered such great behavior so far. Woopty is high energy and needs vigorous exercise. He is having a blast in Connecticut, hiking in the woods. We have almost managed to tire him out! Woopty loves to be on the go: the more action, the better. A bored, frustrated Bully will make mischief, to be sure, but in the hands of dedicated breed enthusiasts, who rejoice in their high energy companions, Bullies are Man's devoted BFFs.

Woopty is an ideal choice for an active single or couple: he is extremely friendly, and good with strangers, but he would likely overpower young children. We haven't had him around cats, but he loves other well mannered dogs. He loves to play with other dogs matched to him for size and energy level, and would be a great companion to another well-trained dog.

Woopty has excelled at his obedience training and is extremely food motivated. He responds well to positive reinforcement training, and has learned all of his commands, so that adopters will be able to get up to speed with him quickly. He has great house manners and is house trained. Adopters will need to forgive the occasional accident that might occur as Woopty transitions to a new potty routine, in a new home.

Woopty has been thoroughly vetted. He has been neutered and has received routine vaccinations and health screenings. He has been dewormed, and microchipped. If you are interested in Woopty, please write to Denise@eskiesonline.com or call/text Denise at 860-908-9738 for more info.
