Darling Nyla was recently dumped at the local Humane Society when her owners moved to dog unfriendly premises. Three years old, Nyla found herself deserted, lost among the rank and file in a large facility, depressed and shut down. We were called in by this well run establishment, so that Nyla could relax, unwind and reveal more of her Eskie personality in a relatively peaceful foster home.

Nyla has blossomed beautifully in foster care has shown herself to be gentle and laid back. She is shy at first metting and needs adopters who are willing to give her space to feel comfortable. Once she does, Nyla will get attached very quickly and be a very devoted companion. We have found her to be a bit subdued for an Eskie...so far. She is not the kind of dog that clamors to be the center of attention, but prefers to stay off to the side and let the other foster dogs grab the spotlight.

Nyla has really charmed us, and we'd love to see her adopted by seasoned Eskie folks, single or couple, who live a quiet lifestyle, in which Nyla can come into her own. She is not a high energy dog, and would do well with moderate exercise, perhaps a couple of leisurely leash walks each day.

Nyla has done well with other dogs, and we think she could co-exist nicely with cats. She may be too skittish for kids and might tend to bond to her adults and back away from the youngsters. Nyla has excellent house manners and is both housetrained and crate trained. She rides beautifully in the car and makes an excellent, well mannered travel companion on short or long road trips.

Nyla is in excellent health and has recently been spayed. She has been vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper and bordatella, and is microchipped and de-wormed. Shee has tested negative for heartworm, lyme, earlichia and anaplasmosis. If you are interested in Nyla, please write to Denise@EskiesOnline.com for an adoption application, or call Denise at 720 903 0636 for more information.
