NOOKIENookie just arrived at our Connecticut Rescue after a harrowing stay at a North Carolina Shelter, where he was hours away from euthanasia. Shelter workers saw an inner spark amid the frightened confusion that he projected, and they advocated for him tirelessly. |
Despite shelter stress, Nookie has blossomed beautifully here and has morphed into a happy-go-lucky little boy. He is a small dog at just 12 pounds, and has a wiry, low shedding coat. We suspect him to be a mix of Yorkie and Chihuahua. |
Nookie is extremely friendly and loves everyone he meets. He would thrive in an active family with other friendly dogs that like to play. |

Two years old, Nookie is an energetic boy who needs some daily exercise to keep him from becoming bored. He would be a fantastic running or hiking companion, and would love to be center stage in the family dynamic. |
Nookie has good house manners, and is house trained and crate trained. Adopters should expect to troubleshoot the occasional accident that will inevitably occur during hIS transition to a new home. He has been neutered, and has received routine vaccinations and health screenings. If you are interested in Nookie, please write to Angelsfrgod@aol.com or call or text Denise at 860-908-9738 for more info. |
