Lovable Natsu has all that dandy, "Oodles of Poodle" look that could land him the lead in the next Disney live action movie. He has a real "leading man" personality. At the the age of eight, he came to us from NYCACC, surrendered by owners who could no longer take care of him.

There is a kind of Poodle charm that attracts folks to these impish characters, who have an infectious tenacity and energy. It seems to us that Natsu has all the Poodle panache and intelligence that these breed fanciers relish. Natsu is a petite Toy Poodle, weighing just eight pounds. He has a lean and athletic physique, with long legs and floppy ears. His cream colored coat has some stains, the trademark of poor nutrition, but he has been professionally groomed twice, and the texture of his coat is improving with better diet.

Natsu is a friendly guy who loves to be in the thick of the action, most of the time, but then knows when to go take a good nap. He would thrive in the lifestyle of an active single or couple. He is a confident little guy, with a sweet nature, and would be a good fit for families with older children or cats. He could easily join a multi-dog home with other fun loving, energetic scamps. He loves to play, and can hold his own with a diverse dog pack.

Natsu has good house manners, and is generally friendly to strangers. He rides well in the car, and is the kind of companion that you can take just about anywhere. He is a happy-go-lucky spirit, who adds charm and geniality to just about any situation. Natsu is house trained and crate trained, however adopters will need to be patient, and troubleshoot the occasional accident that may occur during his transition to a new home.

Natsu is in good health, and has been neutered, and had a full dental procedure recently, along with pre-op full blood work. Upon intake, Natsu presented with some malnutrition and anemia, which we haveaddressed with nutritious diet and supplements. He has been vaccinated for Rabies and DHLPPC (distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parvo, parainfluenza, and coronavirus). He has had the 4dx test, and is negative for heartworm, lyme, earlichia and anaplasmosis. He has been dewormed.
