Our beauty, Muneca, is quite the showstopper: a regal Min Pin, who is clearly, "Queen of the Toys." Yet, Muneca's personality is far from Divalicious. She is gentle, sweet and calm, and longs to connect with her special person. Muneca has a touch of sadness in her soul. She misses her former home, where it seems she was well cared for, and overfed!

A young seven years old, Muneca was faced an uncertain fate, abandoned to a high kill Animal Control shelter, along with her housemate, Bedford. By the time her two day, owner surrender hold expired, Muneca had already caught the shelter kennel cough, and was excluded from their adoption program, despite excellent behavior evaluations. Muneca had been shortlisted for euthanasia, when we were made aware of her plight. We just couldn't resist asking this sweet girl to join our country bumpkin rescue.

Muneca is large and robust for a Miniature Pinscher, weighing 14 pounds. She gives the impression of a much larger dog, with magnificent presence, and yet is extremely easy to handle. Muneca's demeanor is very calm, and she would make a great choice for a first time dog owner, or first time Min Pin owner.

Muneca is a mature adult dog, who is well past the chaotic puppy years. She has excellent house manners, and is not destructive at all. She could easily adapt to apartment life, with an active single or couple, who work a full day. Muneca is beautifully crate trained and would do well on her own, while her owners are at work. She is extremely well mannered, and not much of a barker.

Muneca could also join a laid back family with older kids, who are gentle in their interactions with a canine companion. Muneca may be too timid to stand up to the raucous play of toddlers, but she would welcome the gentle, attention of older kids and teens. She gets along well with other dogs and possibly cats, and could easily join a multi-animal home.

Muneca is in excellent health and has been spayed. She has been vaccinated for rabies and DHLPP (distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parvo, parainfluenza, coronavirus). She has had the 4dx test, and is negative for heartworm, lyme, earlichia and anaplasmosis. She has been dewormed, and is an appropriate heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
