ADOPTED |
MOLLYOur darling Molly is a sheer force of Puppy Nature. She joined our rescue as an abuse case, taken from questionable owners, who were mistreating her pretty badly. Just 4 months old, Good Golly, Miss Molly had experienced the seamy side of human nature. |
Molly's breed roots are a mystery, although, she is reported to be an American Eskimo Dog mix, which is how we became involved. The dubious pet shop that sold Molly to dubious owners, claimed that she is an Eskie/Border Collie mix, but as Molly has grown, we have begun to see a bit of Sheltie. Molly is a small, energetic dog, and weighs about 18 pounds. Now 8 months old, Molly is the size of a Miniature Eskie, and has all the spunk and panache that Eskie lovers clamor for. |
Molly is playful little imp, who is capable of bratty behavior, if left to her own devises. She is at that impressionable young age, where she tests authority to see what she can get away with! She has a good deal of confidence, and often rides roughshod over other dogs, in wild attempts at play. No question, exercise and leadership will play a key role in Molly's future development. |
Molly has excelled at her puppy kindergarten class, and has moved onto basic obedience training. We have begun to teach Molly the basics of the Canine Good Citizenship Program, and she is positively loaded with potential. Adopters will find her a quick study and her training regimen will be a very enjoyable and rewarding experience. |
Molly would be a fine addition to an active home, prepared for puppy mayhem, (or hurricanes). Molly would love another active youngster to play with, but her housemate should have some canine chutzpah to keep up. She would be the ideal running or hiking companion to an active single or couple who are on the go. We think that Miss Molly would overwhelm toddlers, cats and extremely submissive dogs. She is unabashedly and unappologetically in your face, with mucho gusto! |
Molly is in excellent health and has just been spayed. She has been vaccinated for rabies, DHLPP (distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parvo and parainfluenza), and has been boostered as needed. She has had the 4dx test, and is negative for heartworm, lyme, earlichia and anaplasmosis. She has been dewormed.
