Jenny is a delicate girl...a leggy blonde, who is a splendid mix of Italian Greyhound and either Dachshund or Chihuahua...your guess is as good as ours. She has shapely, long legs that suggest the sleek Greyhound DNA, but has floppy ears and a slightly elongated spine, that suggests Doxie....or there could be some Chihuahua....its hard to say. The mix is stunning, and we are convinced that if the Designer Breeders ever get wind of Miss Jenny's origins, we will see legions of her lookalikes in uppity dog parks. |
| Jenny has a fantastic personality and is quick to bond with her people. She is a smart little dynamo who would be the star of her obedience class....once she gets with the program. Jenny has had no obedience work and is somewhat short on manners when it comes to greeting strangers or other dogs. It seems as though nobody has ever told this little girl, NO, but she is slowly but surely learning the meaning of that word. |  |

Jenny would do well with active folks, a single or couple, who enjoy the process of working with a rescue dog, and who can offer her a level of exercise that will tire her out appropriately. She is picky about what dogs she likes....she does better with submissive types who won't interfere with her attention. We'd like to steer clear of kids and cats so that Jenny can get the benefit of her adopters full focus for her needed obedience work. |
| At 14 pounds,she is small enough to travel anywhere and would make the ideal companion for a runner, hiker or camping enthusiast, who is willing to put in the obedience work to improve Jenny's manners. She loves car travel and is pretty well behaved while riding. She has good house manners, and is housetrained and crate trained....although, her foster mom admits that Jenny has charmed her way into bed priviledges. Our darling girl is in excellent health and is aleady spayed. She is vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper and bordatella. Also, she is negative for heartworm/lyme/earlichia/anaplasmosis.
