ICE CREAM

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ICE CREAM. Well, when a dog comes to you named Ice Cream, it has to be said. Darling Icy is a real pip. Her pipness has been exacerbated by extreme hormonal flux, because she entered our rescue in heat. Whatta a bonanza for us. Ice Cream has truly been the belle of the ball with the boys and the Hester Prynne of the gal pack. Nonethless, we can see the sweet, demure lass, under the hormonal frenzy, and once Ice Cream is spayed, she will settle herself into some peace and quiet.

Judging from the progression of her heat period, Ice Cream should be spayed and ready for adoption by mid December. She is a gorgreous 10 pound blonde Chihuahua, her coat the color of carmel and vanilla ice cream. She has beautiful, expressive brown eyes and is a sucker for human attention. Ice Cream loves people. All kinds of people, including kids. She is extremely friendly and loving and would do will in a busy, active home with lots of action. Ice Cream loves attention and loves to be in the thick of the family action. She would be happiest in a family where she can be in the mix, if not center of attentioon.

Ice cream is an excellent traveler and is so tiny that she can go anyhere. She is good in the car, but adopters might want to use a doggie safety harness to keep the little Diva out of the drivers lap. Icy has excellent house manners and is nicely housetrained and crate trained. She has had no formal obedience work, but is so eager to please that training will be a breeze. We recommend formal obedience classes to steer Icy away from the yellow brick road to Prima Donnaness and down the path to good Canine Good Citizenship.

Ice Cream is in excellent health and will be spayed before adoption. She is vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper and bordatella. She is microchipped and de-wormed and is has tested negative for heartworm/lyme/earlichia/anaplasmosis.
