Harvest is a beautiful, five year old Coonhound who needs a loving family after suffering through serious neglect and abandonment. She recently joined our Connecticut Rescue after her owner had become impatient with her lack of hunting skills. He bred her a couple of times but then she had outlived her usefulness, so she was banished to an outside pen on his property in the Virginia countryside.

Harvest had no meaningful human contact for some time, and finally her food tab became an annoyance, so her owner surrendered her to a local Farm Animal Rescue., Then she was transported to us.

This lovely Lady navigated the rescue process with ease, and while she seems shy at first, she opens up easily once the human love starts flowing. She is extremely affectionate, and would make an outstanding family dog. She loves people and could easily live happily with older kids, dogs and possibly cats. Her gentle, loving nature is on full display. She definitely wears her heart on her sleeve.

Harvest is a medium sized dog, weighingt 40 pounds. She is active, but does not have an over-the-top energy level. She requires a couple of leisurely daily walks, but then is content to rest or take a nap. She would do well in a family setting, with a single, or with retired folks.  Harvest will be happy as long as she is loved.

Harvest has been fully vetted, and is now available for adoption. If interested, please contact Denise by email at angelsfrgod@aol.com or Text Denise at 860-908-9738 for more information.
