GEMOur darling little Gem was seized by Animal Control when discovered abandoned in a city apartment after her owner's eviction . This adorable 7 year old girl was described at the shelter as a Chihuahua, but it is our educated opinion that she is a mix of Miniature Pinscher and Italian Greyhound. Gem has long legs, and a slight curve to her spine, suggesting the Greyhound physique. She is Grey/Silver and white with beautiful markings. |

This sweetie has won the hearts of everyone who has met her, and she would make the perfect companion dog for the quiet home. Gem is completely fine with other dogs and cats, and loves people. We'd like to avoid small children though, just so that she can relax and enjoy life and love sans toddler mayhem. Gem has beautiful house manners. She is housetrained and crate trained and loves to ride in the car, preferably in your lap. With her extremely sweet demeanor, she was a great favorite in the shelter, and now has won our hearts as well. |
| Gem is in excellent health, at the perfect weight of 11 pounds, and is due to be spayed this week. She is up to date on routine shots, has tested negative for heartworm/lyme/earlichia/anaplasmosis and is on appropriate prevention. She has been dewormed and microchipped.
