Our Little Chase is an impish character, who finds himself in our Rescue at just five months old. Word is that he was a gift to his owner, who became ill and the family quickly went into crisis mode. This situation was not ideal for raising a young puppy.

Despite the chaos, Chase glided through the changes with ease, and made himself at home here. He loves everyone, and has a bold, outgoing personality. This tiny, seven pound boy has been raised with great love, and it shows in his sweet demeanor.  We can hardly believe he is a Chihuahua.

Chase is well suited to an active adult home, or he could join a family with olde,r dog savvy kids.  He is an active, happy boy, who enjoys hanging out at home with his people, or traveling. Chase is well mannered enough to go anywhere. He could easily join a multi-dog home with other small dogs. He has lived easily with a diverse group of foster dogs, and he is gentle enough to be fine with cats.

Chase is mostly house trained and crate trained.  Adopters should expect to troubleshoot the occasional accident that will inevitably occur during his transition to a new home.  He is in optimal health, and will be neutered on 8/17/21. He will be available for adoption after the surgery.  He has received routine vaccinations and a negative 4dx test. He has been dewormed, and has been on heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
