BUCCAOur stunning Bucca is just about as perfect as an Eskie can get. This statuesque six year old beauty has just lost his home due to a catastrophic accident that left his beloved owner in long term rehab. Bucca has been beautifully trained and cared for and has a divine temperament. |
| Our first mission was to pick up Bucca in the kennel where he was staying during his owner's crisis, and everyone had tears in their eyes as he walked out the door. Bucca then made the Adoption rounds as we circulated through New York and New Jersey, finally winding up tired but happy in a local dog friendly Super 8. What a perfect Gentleman! Bucca is a model of good Canine Citizenship, and a fantastic travel partner. Bucca has now settled into his foster home to await adoption. He has blended in beautifully, and has excellent doggie and house manners. He has been cordial to everyone and really enjoys human companionship. He is a loyal and devoted companion, who will stick with you during a brisk run or walk, and then, take a nap at your feet....or in your lap, if you let him! |

Bucca is housetrained, but has lost some of his stride during the confusing transition. Adopters will need to adopt a consistent meal/potty schedule to reinforce his training. He is nicely crate trained and can be left alone for modest amounts of time without incident. Bucca can be overzealous on the leash, so use of a halti lead or other control device is recommended. |
| Bucca is a healthy, standard American Eskimo, who is at ideal weight at 30 pounds. He has been neutered, and is up to date on routine shots, and is heartworm negative.
