BEANIEBeanie Baby is a total doll. She came to us with a rough cold and it took some doing to get this beauty back on her feet. Now that she is well and coming out of her shell, we are seeing a delightful, plucky personality that lights up the room whenever she enters. |
Otherwise, Beanie is a swell pup, with lots of love to give. She is good with other dogs, but will stick her nose into their business and sometimes receive an unwelcome response! We have not had Beanie around cats, but she would likely chase them at first, and then she'd warm up....if adopters have patience and skill in forging relationships between dogs and cats. The ideal adopters for Beanie would be an active family with older kids, or a couple or single who have a nurturing spirit and would enjoy the process of restoring Beanie to a healthy weight. Beanie has not had any obedience work at all, and adopters will want to enroll her in formal classes to continue her structured socialization. |
Beanie has pretty good house manners for a pup, and is easy to manage on leash. She has not shown destructive behavior, but adopters should remember that she is young and puppy proof the house. Beanie is house trained and cratetrained, but should be kept on a strict feeding and potty schedule to ensure her successful transition from foster care. |
Beanie is now in good health. She will be spayed before adoption and is up to date on routine shots. She is microchipped and de-wormed, and has tested negative for heartworm/lyme/earlichia/anaplasmosis.
