ADOPTED |
HAZELOur pup Hazel is a petite cutie that we think may be a German Shorthaired Pointer. She was found as a country stray in North Carolina, and we brought her to our Rescue in Canterbury, Connecticut last month. |
Now 4 months old, Hazel is ready for her new home. She is a sweet, demure girl with a slightly shy temperament. She loves all people, and has sailed through the Rescue process with a healthy curiosity about new people and situations. Hazel plays gently with other dogs, and would thrive in a multi-dog home, with other gentle, playful dogs. |
As a working breed, German Short Haired Pointers need a good deal of exercise and mental stimulation to maintain good behavior. Hazel does not have over the top puppy energy, but she does need a couple brisk leash walks each day to get her yayas out. |
Hazel would be an excellent choice for an experienced puppy-savvy adopter, willing to commit to ongoing training and socialization. She would do well with an active couple or family with older kids, who can play gently with a young dog. We think Hazel could be fine with cats. |
So far we have seen a sweet personality and balanced temperament in Hazel and we seek an adopter willing to raise her as a Canine Good Citizen. She is in excellent health and has been spayed, fully vaccinated and dewormed. If you are interested in Hazel, please write to Angelsfrgod@aol.com or call/text Denise at 860-908-9738 for more info. |
